Tucson Real Estate Marketplace

Scene of Tucson Arizona from the distance.Tucson, Arizona is a warm, dry, laid-back place that’s full of history and beautiful sights. The seat of Arizona’s Pima County, Tucson has over half a million residents in its city limits alone. It’s not a surprise, considering that it’s one of the warmest areas in the country. The population enjoys beautiful clear skies during the summer and very mild winters with the occassional light snowfall. The Tucson real estate market consists of areas with brief interludes of spring, autumn, and monsoon seasons.

Beyond the fantastic climate, however, Tucson has considerably more things to offer. One is a very colorful history that can be traced back to the Paleo-Indians approximately 12,000 years ago. It also briefly became a part of Mexico before it became part of Arizona. Furthermore, it played a significant role during the American Civil War. Anyone can experience such a rich history through the Arizona Historical Society, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, and the Museum of the Horse Soldier, to name a few of the city’s plethora of museums and monuments.

Home depicting type of homes commonly found in the Tucson area.Tucson homes are also in close proximity to some of the most stunning landscapes in all of America, if not, the world. Situated in the plains of the Sonoran desert, residents are treated to the dramatic backdrop of no less than the Santa Catalina, Tortolita, Santa Rita, Rincon, and Tucson mountains on all sides. With its over 120 parks, including the Reid Park Zoo, Coronado National Forest, and Mt. Lemmon’s Summerhaven, Tucson is sure to foster the love of the outdoors and adventure in anyone.

Another reason why the Tucson real estate market is so popular, is the diversity of races and cultures among it’s residents, including a large percetange of Native Americans, Hispanic folk, and Asians amidst the larger population of Caucasians and African-Americans. This counts for the very diverse cuisine available throughout the city. In fact, the best Mexican food in the U.S. is said to be found right here!

Tucson also plays host to the University of Arizona, 4 campuses of the University of Phoenix, and a branch campus of the Northern Arizona University. There are also 10 primary and secondary school districts spread throughout the city and its suburbs. There are also a multitude of industries that thrive within the city with notable names such as Intuit and American Express.

Most of the Tucson real estate markets are located in the incorporated suburbs of Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, Casas Adobes, and Catalina, to name just a few. To begin your search of the perfect place to live in Tucson, please use our online property search by clicking here.
